Some tips

1. You can add char and corp api keys at once. Just select this rows and copy to clipboard. after returning to Neocom you will be prompted to add them.
2. Almost every screen have a search field. By clicking on the blue button you will open the filter screen. On this screen, you can filter only those records that interest you.

3. You can open stored fits ingame. Just start exporting via browser, open ingame Neocom page and click on "Show Fitting" link.

As always, after the new major upgrade of EVE Online, having trouble of adaptation. In the application all the time there was a bug in the section Assets. Application crashes if asset cannot be found in the EVE database dump. It happened with the Christmas gifts from CPP.

Now about the problem with Checking Server Status. Checking the server status to be repeated when the cache time expires. Perhaps i should not have much hope for it. Theoretically could be situations where the update took place almost immediately.
Currently all these bugs are fixed and the update waits for review from apple.

Activity indicator problems

I really put a lot of effort to work correctly indicator of activity. But I left the back door if you still have problems with it.
1. Close Neocom from task manager (double click on home button).
2. Create on PC empty file with name disableActivityIndicator.
3. Put this file in Neocom documents directory via iTunes file sharing.
4. Start Neocom

Activity indicator will never more appear.

Refactoring Background Task Manager

I received a lot of complaints on the Activity Indicator, which does not disappear for a long time. I decided to completely rewrite it from scratch. Now there shouldn't be hung tasks. Also you can now see what is happening at the moment.

Neocom on iOS 5

I think for a long time to move Neocom on iOS 5. But then the application can not be run on older devices (iPhone 3G, iPod 2G). I can not see the statistics of the devices used. I was wondering your opinion, how this update would be appropriate.

EVEUniverse fitting engine (eufe) wrapper

I finished work on creating a eufe Java wrapper. To create a wrapper i used SWIG. Could potentially be created wrapper for other languages ​​(PHP, Python, etc.). The purpose of my work was to create eufe library for Android. I myself will not develop EFT under Android, i just give the tool for other developers.

The last review attempt failed.

The last review attempt failed with Apple. I confirm renaming application to Neocom. I hope this name will not cause such conflicts
I'll be grateful for any help in the design of icon and logo. I plan to finish the new version by the end of the week and send to review.

The future of the project.

Apple banned the further use of the name EVEUniverse. I am taking one last attempt. If Apple does not change its position, i would have to change the name of the application. Jim Nastik suggested rename EVEUniverse to New Eden Neocom.
I'm not a designer, so that in this case, i need help designing a logo and application icon 512x512.
P.S. Project is not dead, just have a small problems with the publisher.

I apologize for this bug. I didn't do clean up before to build application for AppStore. Therefore, one old interface-file got in the iPad version. In the iPhone-version everything should work. I will upload update of the EVEUniverse to Apple today.

I apologize. In 2.3.0 i used the function createDirectoryAtURL, but i have not looked that it appeared only in iOS 5.0.
To work around this problem, you can remove mail access from the API Key (remove all flags from the section Communications).

EVEUniverse 2.3.0 Released 23 February 2012

What's new:
  1. Skill planner.
    You can import your skill plan from EVE Mon (open Skill Planner section and press edit button).
  2. EVE Mail.
    Sometimes the server may return the old mails, which may be unread by mistake.
  3. Assets browser
    You can use search bar and filter options for advanced assets searching. For example, you can find all your battlecruisers. Just type 'battlecruiser' in search bar. Also you can open your ship in Fitting tool from assets browser.
Notes for directors and CEO's:
  • loading corp assets can take very long time (up to few minutes, depending on the number of assets, internet connection speed and Device performance);
  • you can add Location access mask to group assets by POS location;

EVEUniverse 2.1.0 Released 17 January 2012

This update includes a database update to include all the items introduced in Crucible.
Also introducing a completely new fitting engine which allows for the following:
- Fleet Members
- Fleet Boosters
- WH-Space Effects

And first bugs:
Some attributes of the ship can be incorrectly calculated (in t3 ships this is resistances and ehp). I fixed it, but will have to wait a week until Apple approves the updat.
Fits created in previous version have incorrect modules states. You must chage states manualy. I apologize for the inconvenience :(

Crucible update.

I apologize for the delay of updates. I had to do a great job (about 10 000 lines of code). Currently a new update is in testing.
What's new:
1. You can create and test not only the fit, but also fleet.
2. You can set fleet boosters.
3. You can set target for each your module or drone (remote repairers, power transfers, stasis webifiers - everything will be taken into account).
4. You can set WH bonuses (for WH warriors).
